This is awesome. IPhone/carplay support would be great. But for now, maybe I'll take an old samsung I have and just mount that into my phone holder.

If you're not worried about charging loads, I'm sure most people wouldn't mind spending a dollar or two on the app to help you cover app store/developer fees.

I've successfully turned my car into the world's most expensive gaming controller.
I've now mapped all the iDrive control buttons, so I figured I'd make something fun to test them with.

I also think I've found a solution to the Drag Meter accuracy issue.
I'm going to test using the front wheel speed sensors and the car's built-in navigation GPS signal for correction speed calibration. If it works, I won't have to rely on the phone's GPS anymore.

I'm also working on mapping all TPMS signals.

And the app now also supports landscape mode, automatically resizing the gauges to fit the screen when you rotate your phone in full screen mode.

The TPMS gauge is now fully working! Had some issues with incorrect temperature readings in Celsius, but that's all sorted out now

The values are read directly from the DSC module. Updates are fairly slow, around every 10–15 seconds from what I've seen, I need to log this more to be certain, but that's still fine for street use and for the tyre pressure/temperature history log I'm working on

I also noticed that the pressure readings have better resolution than what's shown in iDrive, at least when using bar. For example, iDrive rounds 2.15 bar up to 2.2, while my app displays the actual reading of 2.15 bar

Unfortunately, getting speed data from the head unit GPS that I mentioned in last post, turned out to be a dead end. It doesn't actually report vehicle speed, but rather distance travelled per second, and the resolution is too low to be useful for speed calibration

At least the wheel speed sensor readings are working fine, although I haven't had a chance to properly test them with the Drag Meter yet. The weather here has been absolutely dreadful over the past week, with storms and heavy rain, so I haven't been able to take the supra out for testing.
In the next week or so, I have to put it away for winter storage, so testing new features will be harder in the future
