Is burning 3/4ths quart of oil every ~5000 miles normal for a boosted car?

I have a 3.0 Supra and haven’t got the low oil warning in over 20k miles but it does a little low before an oil change. I race the car a bit and go drag racing, daily it etc. I’m pretty sure it’s normal but wanted too see how you guys are dealing with similar. I’m on liquimoly 5w-30

Yea do you get the little trail of smoke when you stop at a light sometimes, very disconcerting the first time that happens. I’m going to get a catch can to keep some of the oil out of the intake should curb some of that too…
