Was thinking about buying it end of this week or next week. And it’ll still take a couple days to get delivered/installed. I’m at 340 miles currently, will probably be at around 550-600 miles when it comes in and I take the dp to get installed.

Not sure if I should just wait until break-in mileage to do it, or if I’m okay doing it before that. I’m just feeling impatient and want to buy it and get it installed as soon as I can. Is there any negative doing it at a lower mileage? Anything bad that might happen to the car if I do it before 1200 miles?

It's fine, just go easy on the engine for the break-in and not keep it at one RPM (ie highway driving)

I only did 800 for break-in anyway and was tuned by 1000, and oil change at 2500. Never had an issue.

I added the AA catted downpipe at 250 miles. The shop revved the s*** out of it. I'm at 300 miles atm. If my car explodes I'll let you know :)

I also added a downpipe before the break-in period. Never had any issues.

You can install the downpipe and then just follow the break-in procedure as a precaution.
