is the Oil Level Sensor the same part as all BMW b58?

My oil level keeps stopping at 19%and doesn't matter what my oil temps are at. I'm trying to see if this part will work

Apparently this part is on back order and this is much cheaper than ordering a stock OEM oil level sensor.

Any update ? Did the sensor fix the problem?

Just got my car back from the dealer under my extended warranty. Oil pump is the main culprit. There's plenty of post on this issue now. Appararently the first year supra has a plastic part in the oil pump and the new part is has a slight redesign the prevent this.
