So, I have the base model 2.0 without the technology package... I cannot for the life of me figure out how to engage launch control. I've read the manual and I believe I'm following all the steps correctly. The car has been driven for over 6 minutes uninterrupted, the engine is at temp, sport mode, traction off. Mash the break, then the gas... All I get is a bog or burnout. The launch control flag never pops up. Any tips?
