I don’t know where to get that beating a dead horse GIF but, as has been said many times in this and other threads, launch control in these cars is WORTHLESS. Even the manual (that book that comes with the car) is honest and says you can do better yourself. The Supra launch control would be more accurately described as a massive wheel spin generating program.
On a low grip surface (most streets) brake torque to maybe 1500 to 1800 and then aggressively hit the has to manage wheel spin. On a prepped drag strip torque to around 2000 or as high as you can before the wheels start to spin and then simultaneously mash the gas and sidestep the brake. I pulled a 1.74 60 ft time at the drag strip with this method (stock car).
