Very new to lowering cars in general, first time in this atmosphere of modding my car. I’ve looked at the forums also but all of it is over whelming with the factors of each component to make it work. Lowering springs or coil overs, spacers, wheels and after market wheels, how would all of that come together to make it function well?

I’m thinking of getting new wheels but I’d like to lower my Supra first and then get wheels based off the specs it’s sitting on? Or which route should I take?
What are things to consider throughout the process?

I do have this lip on and I’m wondering how it’ll do with clearance upon lowering the car.

Basically asking for help to dumb down the process even more lol. Still learning everyday,

Cheers!

Go with coilovers, you can adjust ride height so if you feel you’re too low you can raise up a bit.

Then you can get wheels and adjust your coilovers to your liking with your wheel and tire set up.

Maybe it's the angle of the photo, but you aren't going to have with much clearance with your existing lip after lowering. I would ditch it for something that doesn't hang down so far. The aftermarket wheels thread should give you a good idea of what you might like for wheels and drop.

Echo what’s been said. Also consider a different splitter. Maybe like the Maxton one that is still aggressive looking but gives you a bit more to play with.
