Indeed! A more affordable track oriented BMW would undercut their entire lineup & sell like hotcakes I’m sure they’re second guessing this partnership with Toyota. “Why didn’t we do that with the Z4?”Exactly, I feel like B58 suits the current Supra quite perfectly in terms of fun (sound and aftermarket engine parts), price, cost of maintenance and power. S58 Supra even if it happens, it'll be an over the top car (aka stiffer and more power than you'll need), likely just a collectors item you'll very rarely see on the track. S58 parts are also more expensive than the b58 regardless of source, making it less cost effective for the track day owners.
