Give it some time. Wait until after the break in period to worry. Also, I see you're in Michigan. The cold weather makes manuals pretty clunky for a few miles. Stop and go doesn't help transmissions warm up compared to miles of continuous rotation. See if you have the same issue in the spring on a warm day.

Like the others said, just give it some time for the parts to 'wear-in' together. I've also noticed that the trans shifts better if you let the RPMs get a little higher before shifting, especially the 1-2 shift. It's funky at low RPM, but snicks in nicely above 4000.

Yeah I think you guys are right. This is my first new car so I never had to go through the break in period. I’m not use to a new gear box lol ?

It loosens up over time. Just passed 8.4k now and shifting is a lot smoother than when I first got it. R is still a bit tough but now it’s more so an accident prevention tough rather than a workout
