MHD, 2021 Supra, E50 OTS map Limp Mode

Alright alright alright! So I installed my Fuel It Ethanol Analyzer and went to the local gas station. I flash the E50 OTS map, only avaliable for 2021s because apparently they use the B58 O1 Engine model, and then drive around town. I drove very chillaxed for about 30 minutes and then started getting into it. The car pulls hard, like really hard all the way until..... it goes into limp mode. Every time I WOT the car, it goes into limp mode around 100mph shifting into what I believe to be 5th gear? I don't know. Anyways, I've datalogged it happening and sent it to MHD. Also, the fault code through the MHD code reader says something like, "insufficient fuel for performance level". Sad day, I guess it's time for a custom tune.

There's a real fine line with fueling on e50. What is your mix measuring on the app? how much did you mix? I doubt that MHD would send you a revision, but id check the mix again and probably have someone send you a custom map if you really want to run e50.

Mix was a perfect E50. The Fuel-It was bouncing from E51 and E50. I'm going to have to go custom no doubt. MHD told me this week that they were in fact going to remove the E50 OTS map and replace it with a very impressive, very stable E40 map they've been working on for a while. So if I'm not custom tuned by then, I will mess with that OTS map, but yea, I plan on being custom tuned as soon as MHD has the time!

They are. The guy from MHD said, and I quote, "We are doing fully new developed maps at the moment and so far our beta testers have been very very happy".

Now I will say this, he sent me a Beta version of the new 93 octane OTS map they are going to releasing and it is very very crisp. It's amazing compared to the standard OTS map I've been using. The beta map is so good, that I didn't realize the one I was using before wasn't that great, if that makes since.

Sorry. I mean there are some guys on here running JB4 with better times than my "tunes". That being said, I've yet to pay for any custom tuning.

Got my hands on the revised MHD E40 OTS Map today and my limp mode issue has been completely fixed. I went out and drove the car very spiritedly for close to an hour testing both manual sport mode and auto sport mode all the way to pre redline shift point right at 7k and no limp issues. The E40 map is actually faster than MHD's OTS E50 map I've been using. Now I'm super excited to get the E50 custom tune.

Haha. They should be releasing them to everyone pretty soon. At the moment they are still classifying them as beta maps.

EDIT: Also one thing to note is that my tunes are different than yours anyways because of engine differences, but I'm pretty sure the M1 should be getting revised maps as well.

The M1 gets the short end of the stick wtf. ? like E30 is cool and all, but i wanna sauce people wtf.
