MHD OTS flex fuel tune on 91

I have MHD and use the OTS maps. Living in Phoenix Az 93oct is tough to find so I bought a flex fuel kit from MHD to be able to run e50 since I have a e85 gas station right around the corner. I will be mixing 91oct and e85 to get e50. I read somewhere saying if I was mixing 91 and 85, I would need a custom flex fuel tune, not an ots one. Is that true or not?

When you flash their Flex Fuel OTS map in you can run any blend between E0 to E70 etc , their tune makes the most power at E40.

My custom tunes make the most at E50, but its not a huge different from my E40 settings.

Any custom tune will make more than the OTS Flex Fuel, but its a good map to get you started.

Thank you for the quick reply! I do plan on going custom eventually but I have a few additional mods that I was looking to add beforehand!

yup, and that's EXACTLY why and what the Flex Fuel OTS option should be used for.
