MHD Rolling Anti Lag - Is it Safe?

Hey guys, I have a 2024 6MT with a pure 900 currently making 734WHP/885nm with shaped torque curve to keep the rods happier.

Am i sending my block to an early grave by using RAL which from my understanding is essentially bypassing the shaped torque?

Example: 2nd Gear (6MT) with 50kmph roll @ 3000rpms with MHD RAL boost target set at 8PSI (the lowest?) holding for 1-2s max.

This is how my local roll racing event is setup and without the RAL, the other car will easily get 2 car lengths ahead before i can start to reel them and then its over as the strip is quite short and not favorable to high horse powered cars.

However, with RAL and some good traction, i get shot like a slingshot and it feels awesome but at what cost lol.

I use it in 3rd and 4th, kid loves the jolt, set to its highest psi, 12-15 whatever it is, I’ve never noticed a difference in logs, temps, between using it and not. I only put a couple thousand miles on a yr and don’t race so I’m not worried about using it. Keep meaning to as tuner it RAL can be increased to say 20psi. 🤷🏼‍♂️.

Holy smokes, now i don't feel so bad haha.

I was worried that 2nd gear at 3k rpm RAL for 2 seconds might potentially be too harsh on the rods, but I'm only punching 8PSI boost target, i think on the MHD app the highest is 16PSI which is double lol.

You are manual right?? Have you done many gear 2 RAL pulls?
