Obviously a design flaw with the material used and the only option is to replace the entire mechanism. No thanks!

Well I just had a custom overlay decal produced to cover up the annoying issue on my car.

If anyone wants one... I can provide them for $10 each shipped.

Fyi - the size has since been adjusted at the bottom for the perfect fit.

My P had a little bubble that was caused by some of the flaking of the underlying OE button. So I ordered another P from the P master and did some proper prep this time. Prep included using goo gone for the remaining adhesive, carefully etching off the flaking OE finish with a razor, and sanding to 3000 grit (unnecessary tbh). New P sits perfectly now and the backlight is even.

Hmm, he sells Ps. Possibly refers to himself as P daddy while flexing in the bathroom mirror. Instructions say to use baby oil. Coincidence? Satisfaction level 1000%. Cost = 10 bucks, 1 hour of prep, no soreness.
