Looks cool, I will be curious to see the whole reveal. I believe that color is the same as BMW Mineral White, and it has some interesting behaviors when shiny. Be interesting to see how it acts with a matte wrap.

Looks to me the top of that spring isn't seated right. The edge of the spring should be against the rubber stopper in the top hat no?

What your seeing is the second spot that has an angle to actually support the spring - there is a guide stop where the end of the spring goes also. You will see if you ever take one apart. ill see if i have a detailed photo.
