Hi guys,

Recently purchased the MSS Suspension Supra A90 kit via throtl.com (who have been bought out by American Muscle recently) and are of no help as MSS might be out of business. They just suggested to reach out to MSS directly (I've tried...) So I figured I'd try here.

Upon attempting installation, I found that the front polyurethane spring seat doesn't seem to fit correctly. Also, tried comparing to install videos/posts and it looks different. Also, comparing the physical part to the packing slip shows a discrepancy in the part numbers:

Part number stamped on the physical part: MSS 44C
Part number listed on the packing slip: 1081C

I am not sure if the correct part number stamped on the seat should be MSS 81C.

Not sure if any one could confirm the correct part number and/or point me in the right direction to get the correct part.

Wow, did MSS take down their YouTube videos just to fuck over anyone that buys their remaining stock? What a dick move. It's literally more work than just leaving it alone.
Damn!

I hadn’t realized they did

I just went back to what I did when I installed my MSS springs and noted that the front shoe seemed to fit akwardly but um it worked out fine at the end.

I did compare it to your pictures but didn’t see that note previously. Mine seems to be a bit different as it has another notch in the larger notch (if that makes sense) vs what I can see in your pictures. Hard to compare small details but looks very similar thickness wise.

Watching some videos on YouTube, it looked like the seat used to be a lot thicker previously. And the adjuster had to be pushed onto the seat to fit.

It’s good to hear that it’s actually working.

someone just posted a used set for sale. see if its the same @Yagi
Thanks!

Yes, definitely looks thicker/like the parts that I've seen in the older videos.

Wonder if MSS was cleaning house before going out of business and just included parts that "fit".
