Mst v2 intake doesnt sit flush???

I have a mst v2 intake and noticed this is how my breather hose sits it. Is this a problem or does it have to be flush?

It should sit flush. Thats what the shoulder on the fitting is for.

I tried my hardest to get it flush but thats as far as it goes

It looks like it needs to be rotated counter clockwise.

Shouldn't... but if it pops out you might suck in some debris that you don't want.

I’ve had to take my mst v2 intake off and really planned everything to fit the second installation. I put that rubber part of the intake onto the turbo (nothing else is installed), let it sit loose, rotate it to get that breather hose to be right next to the plug. I then connected the breather, tightened the turbo side clamp all the way and then fit everything else on. I don’t think it would be an issue for you as it but the side of the breather that connects to the block is super fragile so be careful with putting that tube under stress.
