Hi there, recently bought a 2021 supra, installed the injen evolution intake, i have tried everything i can but the factory air outlet will not line up evenly with the injen box air inlet opening, any ideas to resolution? Is this normal? Will it affect performance if the opening is not lined up?

tl;dr no, it won't affect performance. It's on the intake side.

Do you have any pictures? It's likely a matter or some interesting wrangling. There is a lot of plastic in there that makes installing some intakes a little tricky, especially towards the front bumper.

I had absolutely no problem installing this, it’s a simple straight forward install
U do have to remove the strut to make it easier though

You definitely do not have to remove the strut to install any intake. I assume you mean strut tower bar.

Here are some pictures, everything is seated firmly on all 3 grommets

Same issue I had installing mine. I was told that was normal and would not affect performance.

That looks like it's fine. If it bothers you that much, just go buy some silicon hose, cut it to length, and clamp it down.

Edit: or tape. Tape works too.
