The spoiler came with 3M tape pre-applied. After proper preparation & install, the spoiler will not budge (I am basically pulling on the weight of the car).

Any tips on the install? I got mine about a month ago and it is very close to being on correctly, but I am not centered. It’s hard to see without getting up close but the left side doesn’t sit flush with the body when it did when I was test fitting.
I tried to place some tape beforehand and line up off of that but still missed.
Really need to muster up the effort to get the heat gun out and remove it so I can replace it properly and would like to make sure I do it right this time.

Its not only centered left to right, but front to back as well. Take your spoiler and put it on a flat surface and make sure both ends of the spoiler touch the flat surface. I had one Rexpeed replica that was warped from the factory.

All I did was place some painter’s tape around the spoiler when I was dry fitting. I made sure to put it in the exact same spot, and it ended up perfect.

You might have to redo the 3M tape on the underside of your spoiler. Place the 3M tape strips in a manner where it’s not causing poor fitment.

is the installation using just 3M VHB tape .... no drilling?

Yes 3M double sided tape. It’s super sturdy i had it installed by my detailer when the car was getting PPF and ceramic coated.
