Hi guys. I need some help/advice on choosing tires. I have some BC Forged HCA162S 19x9.5 and 19x11 wheels on order. I was going to go with Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires in 275/30 and 305/30 sizes but now am thinking about just going with either Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4’s or Continental DWS06 Plus all seasons because here in Reno we get all 4 seasons and I’d really like to be able to drive my Supra IF NEEDED in the colder winter weather. I won’t be driving it if there’s a lot of snow on the ground, as I have my SUV for that, but there are times when I need to go pick up my younger son from school in the Supra because my older son would be driving the SUV. Also, I will still have my stock tires if I ever go to the track.

The problem is that both of these all season tires do not come in 275/30 and 305/30 sizes so I’m thinking about 265/35 front and 285/35 rear sizes because 285 is the maximum either come in for a 19” wheel. Has anyone ever put these sizes on a 9.5” and 11” wide wheel?? How do they look?? I guess I’m more worried that the 285 will not look good on a 11” wide wheel.

I appreciate any help and insight you guys could give. thank you.

I think the 285 will looked stretched on a 11" wheel...probably not horrible but definitely stretched..

See I wonder if it will be stretched though because according to these tire size calculators a 285 would be “ideal” for an 11” wheel. I’m hoping somebody has pictures but I wonder if different brand/type of tires, even if they are the same size, has some kind of factor in how they look.

DWS06:
265/35 R19 Front
285/35 R19 Rear

9.5" front
10.5" rear

Slightly more rounded than they looked on the OEM wheels.
You could probably fit them on an 11 inch, but the sidewall would be even more rounded than these.

You're right they would probably be too rounded on an 11" wheel. I think I'll just put the all seasons on the stock wheels and roll with those during the winter and I'll get the proper 275/30's and 305/30's for the new wheels.

Thank you for the pics........this shows me what I needed to see. Did you have any rubbing issues with those DWS06's on the stock wheels?

Happy to help.

No rubbing issues at all.
I kind of miss the look these tires had on the OEM wheels.
They were very square on the wheel in a good way.

Oh yeah!! I love the way that looks. I’ll definitely get those for the oem wheels. Thanks again.

Yep! A90shop sent me pics of your car when I couldn’t decide what to get. I loved it but I went with a matte black inner and gloss black lip combo since my car has the all red and black theme going on.

Reno checking in! FYI, I had the DSWs on my wrx and thought they were great, especially for the price.

I think I’ve seen you around. Do you live around the Spanish Springs area?
Cold springs. I think there’s a couple turbulence Supra’s around but I have been around there before.
