Do yourself a favor and buy a few rolls of blue tape. Use them to tape the whole front bumper, hood and fenders. Its a quick and dirty PPE until you can get it to a shop.

Yes painters tape, it works perfect and you can double it up for extra protection.

~ Many thought I was Nutz… bc I am in my own ocd way. Had to get it home without ppf from the dealer. Took about 2 hours to complete at the dealer with the painters tape. 4 rolls later.

Yes my car is now covered in complete xpel ppf. Now at 7,500 miles and without paint chip worries.

~ They would need it for a full day or so. I’d suggest wrapping the entire hood, front bumper, headlights, front fenders and rockers. The paint is super soft on these cars and chips easily.

Yeah gonna use blue painters tape like one of the forum members suggested since I'm pressed in time. Lol I'll post pictures but my paint will be safe lol whole hood, front bumper, side panels, and pillars. I brought few mods with me so it'll help, got my ZL1 mudguards
