So I got the exhaust installed. Love how it sounds and feels. But in normal mode it just feels really odd. Almost feels like it doesn’t shift right and makes a deep vibration in 8th gear

Cool to hear you went with an AWE. I haven’t noticed a difference in the shifting, and 95% of the time I’m in normal mode since I HATE burbles. I feel the downshifts sound amazing in normal with the Track exhaust. And yes, moderate throttle between 1800 and 2200 RPM is very boomy regardless of the gear you are in, which would be 8th on the highway. Figure the Touring conversion would alleviate that. And that’s why I went with the Track version first, we can simply get a conversion kit to switch it to the touring version with minimal effort. I may get the conversion just to test drive both before making a final decision.

I would make sure everything is tight as that can cause vibration, but my AWE does sim things in 8th gear, in sport mode the car does not really ever shift into 8th, but in normal mode it gets to 8th as fast as possible and just because of how deep and loud this exhaust is you get some vibration.

Interesting. Ok. I will live w it for a few more runs and check it out. I installed a big stereo in mine so I rarely ever hear exhaust anyway. But I could feel the vibration in normal mode.

The Touring is perfect. 100% sport mode all the time. No silly gunshots (2021 car) and just a bit of fun burble, nothing outlandish or crazy. It sounds adult, and not ricey.
