Hey everyone, I recently ordered a set of 777 Performance magnetic paddle shifters and noticed there wasn't a whole lot of discussion regarding them on the forum. Figured I'd share these as it's a pretty compelling option for those who may not want to go through the steps of removing the factory airbag.

I personally have done it in the past for development of my own paddles and it was quite the PITA, not to mention nerve-wracking. I'm sure I could do it again, but do I want to? Ehhhhhh if I don't have to then why not ?‍♂?.

Anyway, these stick on to the back of the OEM paddles and retain the same shape while having a small extension at the 9 and 3 o clock position. Personally I think this should suit me perfectly as I find myself sort of "reaching" for the paddle with my middle and ring finger.

Anyway, they're solid aluminum and should give me that satisfying "clack" I'm looking for. Any of my mechanical keyboard lovers out there know what I'm talking about.

I'll follow up on my impressions once I get them!

Very cool idea. Would be a nice product at $100 or maybe $150. But you can get a very quality piece above $150. $250 is a joke. I do hope you enjoy them

While yes $250 may seem like a lot, keep in mind the only other magnetic paddle shifter on the market (as far as I'm aware) is the JQ works magnetic paddle set. While yes they're nice, they also go for $450 AND require you to remove the airbag for install. Personally, $200 less and a 1min install sounds like a pretty good deal for Tyr same tactile feedback.

Not to mention if I hate them for whatever treason it takes 1 min to remove ?.

Also just a note, there are plenty of other nice paddles out there, but the distinction here is the magnetic "snap" you get. It's nice positive feedback.

It takes 10 min to install the JQ ones and they're only $350 if you catch the group buy. I don't understand why people fuss about pulling the airbag, it's super easy and takes very little time. My wife sat in the passenger seat while I installed the shifters on mine, I warned her that it might take a little bit so she grabbed a book. I had the airbag off, shifters swapped, and airbag back on in like 5 min. She had barely even read a few pages and was pissed that I made it sound like she would actually have some time to read.

I think it all really depends, personally it took me a good 45 mins-1hr to get mine out. But others have had it out in 5 mins or less ?‍♂

Hey so I finally had a chance go go drive the car with the paddles and these things rock! Totally worth the $250. I made a short YT video review for anyone interested:

And for an in-car comparison, stock vs magnetic paddles:

I just order a set. As usually, love you products and trust your quality. This is my 4th mod from your store. Can't wait to get them. I'll be sure to post pics. Next on my list, the air bag cover on your site.

Will they be shipping soon? I know I had to wait a bit for the badass blue flame exhaust tips, worth it btw.
we have a 7 day lead time on these currently. But your order is being prepared already

I finally got chance to leave some feedback. The quality is outstanding. They feel nice and robust with no paddle flex at all unlike the stock mechanism. The driving experience ties it all together making it fun as hell with the positive and intuitive shifts.
I highly recommend these. Should be on the top of all owners upgrade list.
Another great product from OEM+MODS.
