Just got notified that the parts are back ordered with no eta. Doesn’t look like this is happening which really sucks

I wonder if that's by region. When I spoke to the dealer yesterday the parts person seemed to think there was inventory nearby and the order should be ready by today.

I got an email yesterday saying they received my ordered and that the parts would have to be ordered and they’d let me know when they arrived. Now this morning I get the back ordered notification email. My guess is they waited to actually order mine and they are all gone now. Beyond pissed

Ok so an update…
I won’t transcribe the entire conversation, but it went something like:

me: these are gone forever now aren’t they?
Parts guy: not at all. We need to keep these parts available for replacement purposes. They’re just back ordered
Me: So you’re telling me there’s a chance
Parts guy: I just talked to Toyota. They’re telling me available in 2-3 weeks

me: awesome sauce

Oh yea, it would not have made any sense for them to be gone forever just for that reason. Pretty shitty for the LE folks if they had.

That depends on a lot.... stock suspension or coilovers? How much camber? Just trying to clear things or going for a flush look? How low is the car? Honestly, I would just throw some washer in there as spacers and stack it up until it works for you. Then measure the total thickness and go from there.

Ok, fingers crossed. I reached out to the parts dept asked if they were completely sold out/discontinued and was told "not sure. There's been a huge run on these wheels, waiting to hear back from Toyota with more info"

That’s stupid. Why just cancel it? Give the person a choice to either cancel or keep the order and just wait for them to show up.
