Noise that sounds like a receipt printer

Sounds like it's coming from the wastegate after shutting the car off.. Is it normal?

Someone else has had the same question for a similar noise. Can't remember what the answer was though if there was a conclusive one. Try a search.
Modern cars these days are still electrically "alive" for quite some time after shut down. So on my last 3 cars for example the delay was 45 minutes before all the systems went into full shutdown/sleep mode. Instrument needles used to flicker and similar noises could be heard sitting inside the car from the interior for quite some time and if you did a parasitic drain test on the electrical system which I did on one of those cars then you needed to wait 45 minutes before you did the test for everything to shut down.
Out of interest it's not the throttle valve cycling is it. I'm not sure why it would cycle after shut down but have a listen to it.

Mine makes little buzzing like noises after a drive. It's been this way (same with my Golf-R) since the beginning. So far no issue.

Found the thread. I mentioned here that it might be HP fuel bleeding off via the regulator as the fuel line heat soaks and the line pressure goes up.
