I have one. I had issues with other devices where your phone keeps trying to connect to apple car play or bluetooth. If you're using Applecarplay. I would disabled it first in the infotainment system.

I have used it extensively. Took me a couple times to figure out that you don't need to be paired to it for it to function (at least on Android) after the initial setup. You'll see your phone to connect to it, then it will disconnect, but it will still function. It makes it seem unstable, but it's not. Is this what you're experiencing?

Android works better with this then iPhone, seems iPhone and Applecarplay has conflicting issues
So to make this work, you have to disable CarPlay?? Mine does work with CarPlay, it’s reconnecting I’m having issues with, if I leave module in, when I restart car, it doesn’t reconnect, unless I remove module, and reinstall again.
