OEM Alcantara Seats

I'm currently shopping around for an MK5 and I've noticed that they're all leather seats.
I don't want to have all leather seats in the summer.

Are the Alcantara hard to come by (in used) and for those that have it, are they also heated/vented?

I might as well mention this here, if anyone is selling a red MK5, low mileage and clean title. Let me know, thanks!

Mine is a base that comes with the alcantara seats but the only things it is missing compared to premium is the heads up display, the wireless charger and heated seats. I didn't know much when I was buying it but I think this is the best way to spec the supra.

Are your seats vented?
Is the sound system the same in your car compared to the Premium?

I didn't know you'd be missing the HUD and wireless charging if you opted for alcantara seats... that kinda sucks for them to to do that.

Yes the sound system is the same and it has wireless apple carplay

The wireless charger sucks if you haven't heard. The best way to charge your phone is getting a usb-c low profile cigarette lighter fast charger. I would have like the hud but I don't think about it often.

None of the Supra seats are ventilated.

I have a base with Alcantara seats that are heated. I was under the impression no seats are vented.

I will be pulling mine out soon if you are interested.

Yours has driver assist? And the same screen size as the premium models? And the same iDrive controller? I thought these things were also different on the base models. Also some have smaller rear brakes.

I have leather seats in mine and it gets into the low 100s in the summer here for the highs. I just got the car this past August so haven’t had it for a full summer yet, but the seats and interior in general have been surprisingly cool on hot days. The windows are tiny, that probably helps with the heat. Since then I got 35% tint on all windows but the windshield and a windshield sunshade, I don’t expect any issues with the leather next summer.

Mine’s also red, it’s a pretty nice color!

We only get the fully loaded premium in Canada, not a single option available...

I have leather in my IS and it was not bearable without the vented option.
Alcantara, I've had before (Recaro seats) and they don't heat up (or very little) in the summer time, which is why I asked about them.

The alcantara does have holes to breathe more but no vents

It has all of that. They are just added options. It does have smaller rear rotors but I’m pretty sure the difference is unnoticeable.
