Thanks for this but the bolts are on the front? It’s covered by the oil feed line and I cannot remove the housing at all. Is there anyway to keep the turbo in place and remove the compressor housing.
yeah, I don’t know or can think of any bolts on the front. You disconnect the charge pipe, the intake, the wastegate arm and then 4 bolts on the back of the compressor housing. Rotate it and it comes right off.

The way I did this was with a couple of extensions and I went in from between the downpipe and the engine block. It was a bit tricky and took maybe 15 minutes all in all for the bolt at the feed line.

Yes the two port fits a six port. Mine is one off a friend’s two port Supra and put on mine which is a six port.

you should check with Speed Industry. They should have them in stock. I was there a couple weeks ago and they had some sitting on the shelf ready to go.

Ordered through SpeedIndustry, unfortunately no ready stocks.
6port, the inner housing bolt is close to impossible to reach.
2mrrw I'll either drop the dp or try to unbolt and angle the turbo.

I dropped the turbo first time doing it, but found a way where you don’t have to. Remove the DP, use an extension and a universal/wobble with a 10mm and you can slide up through the back of the turbo. Also if you have a long pry bar you can bend a heat shield just enough to be able to get easy access there. That heat shield is like directly behind the bolt a little offset. Makes it a lot easier bent out of the way.

what I use. I’ve got it down to about 2.5 hours total now. Put a piece of tape on the end of the socket and push it through, thatll hold the bolt on there when you install it. Also do about 1 wrap of painters tape around the wobble and that’ll allow it to move some but stay upright when on its side.

I gotcha, need to drop DP and attempt this method.

Anyone know if it’s safe to run a T51R on stock turbo with no tune?
