In any case Supras haven't been selling too well even before lockdowns and now even less so as a lot of people are out of a job. I think there will be plenty of 2021s on the lots and even some A91s that aren't spoken for. I'm not in a hurry personally and would rather get a good deal than pay MSRP. Working from home at least until September i barely even need a car right now as well.

I agree with your approach, but don’t be so quick to assume that about sales numbers.

The Supra has a Market Day’s Supply of only 32...

To put that in context, the C8 is 25 and the Mustang is 62. Higher is better and means more negotiation is possible. The Acura RLX was 242 prior to June.

That gets computed based on the previous 45 days of sales figures so that number is probably artificially low now due to the 2020 blowout, but still difficult to tell where we’ll be in the coming months. The A91 especially.

I actually tried that as well. Called dealers back in my home state (AL) in addition to Cincinnati, Columbus, and Lexington. No luck

Found a dealer who had an allocated Refraction Blue that had not been reserved with a deposit! Placed my deposit today!! Supposed to be hitting the coast on 8/30ish.
