I have had them on my personal car for about 7 months now and no issues here. If water were to get inside, there’s actually rain channels built into the hood that will drain the water.

Even with stock water gets in there around the edges anyways.

Are these shipped out of the US or somewhere else? I have a UPS notification this morning that I have duty charges to pay, but list a Chinese company, which struck me as being odd

We are shipping them from China yes, but so far non of our customers had to pay duty charges, becuause we send the package with lower value. Where are you located?

Most likely brokerage charges by whoever the courier is. You probably won't pay duties but taxes specific to your province. Ordered something from Japan no duties but had to pay Sask taxes and brokerage fees.

I am used to Customs/Brokerage fees living here in Canada, especially when items are coming from overseas. I was surprised to have a notification from China as I had thought that it was coming from the States.
