How are you all organizing your car maintenance supplies?

I just started with this whole process and I am not sure if there is a more effective way of doing this. If so, I would love some ideas.

This is how I am storing my sets of microfiber towels. They are all separated so there is no cross-contamination.

These are the separate caddies I have for the various tasks.

For efficiency sake, I would love to hear other ideas that I can incorporate.

Are you a Detailer? I wish I had a garage like yours.

It does look like you have the same concept of towels in containers.

Where do you place your dirty towels? Are they separate? What bins do you use?

I'm just a weekend detailer for my own cars. Yes, I use shoe boxes for clean towels as I like them sealed before use. The red baskets on the bottom shelf is where my dirty towels go before it is dumped into a larger laundry basket in my mud room for MF towels.

That's awesome. How often do you wash your car and clean your wheels?

I only drive my Supra on dry weekend days so I have not actually used a hose to wash my car, only QD (quick detailer spray). When driven over puddles I use waterless wash from Griots.

As for the wheels I clean them after every 2 drives with QD. If iSweep ever releases brake pads for our cars, I'd get a set as their pads are very low dust yet excellent bite.

Fascinating. I am assuming you've had your car for a while. I cannot imagine not washing it with water at some point. I must look into that.

I am sitting on PowerStop break pads but they are not installed yet. What are your thoughts on those pads?

I have to wash my wheels every week. They are filthy again.

Haha, I do not get offended by that at all. Somehow, it is all the same to me.

The containers are all from Dollar Tree and the caddies are from Walmart so they are all very affordable. Organization without breaking the bank is how I like it.

I was hoping to get ideas from this forum on how to best do this as I am new to caring about my car. :)

It was the profile pic for some reason. Not many open wing white Supras around ;)
But I guess you're right, in here we're all just car enthusiasts.....some more organized than others lol

I was actually just looking at clear totes to store my MF towels. I’d like to get a detail cart, but garage isn’t temperature controlled and I worry about temp fluctuations with detail products.. so they stay in the basement.
