Wow looks good! Glad I went with the black! Super easy to install and it’s a E14 bolt on the 2021 Supra’s! Still not sure what the toque specs are but I am thinking 21 ft lbs! The stock one were not on there too tight.
These are very excellent quality. I have a pair in red. I note that these are anodized aluminum and the finish quality is outstanding. The stock pieces are quite trashy looking.

Yeah your 100 percent right! I put some ceramic coating on them and they look beyond perfect! You can’t make those stock bars look good even if you paint them! It’s amazing that toyota even let those ugly bars into production along with the wind buffering issue! At least the after market can fix these two problems!

im spraying mine soon with rustoleum enamel Matt black...how is yours holding up and did you use primer? I'm just going to paint with no primer as I'm not sure it's necessary?

Same paint I used - pretty sure. No primer but be sure to rough them up with sand paper first. Mine look exactly the same as the day I sprayed them.

And do several lite coats. I did at least three, maybe four.

Reviving this thread for my fellow yellows!

I painted mine with Rust-Oleum Gloss Marigold, which is not a perfect match, but so damn close that nobody has ever noticed.

They really do look cheap as it comes from the factory. I considered painting these, but just said WTH, I'll go with billet braces. Not that expensive.

They do look pretty cheap. Like someone cut the legs off an old school lounge chair and hammered the ends flat.

Who's done this and what paint did you use? Regular aluminum specific paint/primer or does it get too hot under the hood? Would a hi-temp paint be needed? I'm not a fan of the unfinished aluminum look and would like to paint mine of matte black to match the rest of the under hood trim pieces.
I just painted mine with black engine enamel and it seems to do the job quite well!

Don't forget to paint the bolts. If you go to the trouble to paint the aluminum or get aftermarket bars, get a little rostoleum on them bolts. An extra minute with the rattle can and drink a beer and watch the game before you bolt her back up.
