Does anyone have any pictures of the carbon fiber TRD Door garnishes (or the Rexpeed knockoffs) painted to match the car? Looking to delete the faux vent but, the carbon hockey stick look is just a bit too much contrast for my tastes.

I really want to see this too! Surprised no one makes just a smooth plastic one as a vent delete...no need paying lots for carbon then painting over it

I'll be getting mine painted Nocturnal Black. Probably not going to be the best example, but at least you'll be able to get an idea of it not being a contrasting piece.

I'm torn about this topic as well. The hockey stick look just seems off. But the painted examples here also seems a little off to me as well, although not as off as the CF piece.

Comes under the category of "trying too hard". Sometimes, well most times "less is more".
The unpainted carbon look is so 1990's. Decorative Carbon Fibre, 21st century chrome.
