I haven't used it before but a friend sprayed about seven sets of wheels and said the newer formulas are fairly durable especially with the clear coat spray. It looks like pressure washing them is the easiest way to remove the coating.^ How durable is that? Have you used it before? any issues with removing it?
That thing is a stunner. Well done.Shadow chrome on downshift blue:
Yes, this is what I eventually will do with my wheels but in a few years time maybe even later.I just sprayed my stock wheels in Onyx metallic from Superwrap. I wanted them to look more black than graphite so there's only one coat of Onyx.
Thanks dude! Got spacers and lowered since those pictures were taken, might have to get another few professionals taken! That thing is a stunner. Well done.
Beautiful and the countryside looks gorgeous too. Thanks dude! Got spacers and lowered since those pictures were taken, might have to get another few professionals taken!
Here's one from me for now though..!
It depends on the shop. I would give them a call and find out before bringing it in.Anyone know when you powder coat these do the tires need to be removed from the wheels? If the shop does it?
The shop I plan on going to in Tulsa , OK White Glove Auto, removes the tires, sand blasts , powder coats then remounts and balances the tires for $400.Anyone know when you powder coat these do the tires need to be removed from the wheels? If the shop does it?
powder coating requires proper prep and baking, so I would hope the shop removes the tires and sandblasts the entire wheel.Anyone know when you powder coat these do the tires need to be removed from the wheels? If the shop does it?
