Hello all!
Currently have a parasitic source. My fuel pump is buzzing and when I unplug the relay, it stops. The trigger wire (pin 85) is routed towards the engine bay into the MOTIV reflex. The ground wire (pin 86) is connected to the negative battery terminal. I was told to take pin 85, tap it into the fuse box. Then take the pin 86 and tap it into the MOTIV reflex. Iāve driven this car 9000 miles for about a year no issue and then my battery died. I thought it was because I kept my ECUTEK dongle in and drained it but I replaced the battery yesterday and I started getting this buzzing sound from my fuel pump. Investigated and unplugged the relay and thatās the source. What I donāt understand is why is it wired this way and why did it just all of a sudden become a problem after a year? Wouldnāt this switched wiring caused a problem in the the first place? Is that everyoneās wiring set up?
