Parking sensors?

Purchased an Absolute Zero white Supra yesterday and waiting for PDI

Anways got a call now from dealership asking me if I wanted free parking sensors?

What?!

Car is loaded except for the Driver Assist package (Middle East spec)

The thought of having them remove bumpers and adding those ugly circle sensors made me reject

How it would be integrated is also another question

Is the rear camera now enough?

In previous cars I’ve owned, if a certain feature wasn’t installed on my vehicle, all I’d have to do was buy the last remaining part for the feature to work and I’d then have it. For example, bluetooth microphone and steering wheel controls would give me full access to bluetooth capability. The Supra may already have the wire harnesses behind the bumpers for parking sensors, so all the dealership would have to do is plug them in and reprogram a control module. The sensors are definitely helpful, especially when it comes to cross traffic alerts. And the backup camera is an absolute must because visibility out the back of the car is extremely limited when reversing.

i think what you got is the GR stander not the Plus, i got my supra GR plus in saudi with what they call safety pack that includes the drive assist package. the only difference i know of from the us market is the apple carplay.

The car has Carbon trim and heads up display so ours are different..

They offered to have them installed for free at a later time which is great
