First off topic random post!

Anyone photographer / camera gearheads here? I'm an admitted pixel-peeper and gear addict. Currently have a Canon 6D but saving up for a 5D.

Photography hobbyist and gear head too. Always shot with Canon and have a small collection of lenses but lately been thinking of selling everything and making jump to Nikon for its D750. Mark III level quality (and sometimes even better) in a less expensive and smaller body. Most importantly the IQ and ISO is supposed to be better.

Great technical review comparing the two directly if anyone interested...

@Hank Lee I've seen that review. Good comparo.

Even though I shoot with Canon I'm beginning to think that the company is falling behind a bit now. With a 2 year cycle for its pro level bodies like the 5D, it's being passed by by aggressive companies like Sony (and even Nikon with their non-pro-level cameras). You have camera like the D750 now which are much cheaper but have better IQ, dynamic range, and even flip screen. Not to mention Sony which now have the great compact full frame A7 line. Canon better not get caught thinking they're too big to fail or be beat.

Got myself Olympus OM-D E-M5 for Christmas :)
Not quite SLR level but more compact.

I'm just learning the functions even but it can take some stunning shots (not mine)
