‘09 GT-R, fbo on e85…super-fun car.
‘19 Audi S4 in Porsche Chalk…amazing, comfy interior.
Now that I have a ‘21 Supra on e50, I’ve come to the conclusion that it’s the best car I’ve ever owned. I absolutely love everything about it!

How was the e92 as a track car?

i keep
Coming back to one as a dedicated track. Want to gut and cage one
I only ever HPDE'd it.

The motor was super. Very rev happy and never put a foot wrong. And with the cheap OEM exhaust mod, it sounded amazing!

The car itself was not my favorite though. Steering just didn't have a lot of feel (better than the Supra, but worse than the Evo X I had before it and the Alfa I had after it), had a bunch of body roll, and it just felt heavy. Now, stripping it out to make a track car would be a completely different story.

Also, FWIW, now that I've gone through over 10 performance cars in my life, I'm finding that steering feedback/feel is the thing I value above all else. It's why I'll almost certainly move on to a Lotus Emira instead of a C8 Corvette after I've had my fill of the Supra. I hope that gives some perspective.

Nothing handles like a Lotus

Had a 2016 Fiesta ST I ordered and took delivery in June of 2015 I kept until 2019

Then traded it for a 2019 F-150 Regular Cab Short Bed, 5.0 with the 10AT I kept for a year until I bought the 2020 Supra. I miss the truck some days, until I pull the Supra out for a drive.

I've owned a bunch of random cars since I started driving. The last two before the supra were a Kia Forte GT2 and C7 Z06/Z07. The Kia Forte GT2 was a big surprise tho def better than an Si Civic best car I've owned was no question the C7 Z06/Z07!!!

List of my old cars in order:
2014 Buick Verano, 2019 Charger Scat Pack, 2006 Mercury Grand Marquis, 2021 Accord 2.0 Sport, 2021 Kia Forte GT2, 2017 Corvette Z06/Z07, 22 Supra 3.0 Premium

In order, '90 MkIII Supra N/A 5spd -> 1j swapped. Was gonna continue it and do a 1.5jz build but i wanted to try a different platform.

'14 Evo X GSR, full Varis V2 kit with '09 sideskirts and custom in-house fenders i made myself. This car had the works. FBO, E85, kelford 214b, FP red, open dump, Exedy twin, blah blah blah.. i miss it, but the MKV is 18592059492884 times more better of a car to me.

then there's the MKV.. just read the build sheet lol.

Niceeee! In your opinion, how would you compare the power of the supra vs the GT-R? My buddy has one with basic bolt ons not on e85, and I feel like the Supra is a lot faster. The only thing that is insane in his GT-R is the level of grip obviously, it feels like it's glued to the ground. In contrast, the power delivery in the Supra has to modulated to reduce spin and the back kicking out.

You are absolutely correct, the GT-R is glued to the ground at that power level! The power in my Supra was pretty much unusable until I switched my wheel setup. I did the 18”x10.7” Titan7 ts5 rims with 275/40’s in front and Falken rt660 295/40’s in the back. The rears take A bit to heat up, but once they do you can send it. I feel like the Supra (525whp/560wtq on e50) is faster than my GT-R (592whp/612wtq), but it’s really close.

Thanks for the reply, and confirmation! You are right, the Supra's power was almost unusable until I put on new tires as well :)

Don’t get me wrong, I loved that GT-R, but the Supra is an absolute riot to drive and it sounds so damn good with my exhaust setup.
Yea for sure :) I'd love to have a GT-R someday as well. Amazing cars
