No reason to switch from CSG other than I wanted to try another brand.
couple hundred cheaper

I bought the 999 series which is a dedicated track pad

they worked very well until……
They didn’t

for the casual track day person they will be fine. When I really pushed them they are about 90% as good as CSG 21/11

got them down to about 1/4 pad left and this past weekend they started failing

I was at a track I had never been to for SCCA TT. This track is really hard on brakes-apparently
Tried to bully the track and one of my front pads caught fire.

made it through the day Pads did better with more finesse. However the material started to fail. There are better drivers for sure, but I am fairly aggressive. Drove it 9/10 effort

I am headed to VIR this weekend and put back on CSG today.

See you at VIR this weekend. I'm coming down from Boston, excited to try a new track
Will PM my cell.
Look forward to meeting you. Let me know how I can help? Happy to go over the track and share what I know.
I am in HPDE3
