Pure800 Turbo Lag

Hello folks , hope everyone is alright

I plan on doing some kind of turbo upgrade down the line , seems like to me now the most viable solutions are pure800 and the GC+. I’ve heard bad things about the GC+, and it seems like most folks are going the route of the pure800.
With a tune, how bad is the turbo lag when it comes to daily local driving ? I’m talking about in the 0-60mph range, it seems like the stock turbo is responsive and punchy. How different is the feel on the pure800 compared to stock ?

The Pure turbos are the stock turbo with slightly enlarged compressor wheel and hotside exit. No change to compressor housing or frame size, really. Spool is approximately the same.

Ah I see , that’s what I thought as well but I saw some folks on FB threads saying there is a noticeable lag, but perhaps their tune was off. Anyone running a pure800 that can comment ?

As someone with a tuned pure 800

car machine go BRRRRRR

You're gonna have more fun with any upgraded turbo I don't think you'll notice anything in the 0-60 range
