I have an OTS stage 2 tune in my 2020.

couple questions:

1. do I need to data log anything and send it to them for review? If so what conditions do they want it under?

2. it appears that In sport mode the transmission doesn’t appear to want to kick down as readily when I punch it while cruising. I have to push the throttle all the down to the kickdown at the bottom of the throttle pedal. Is that a programmed thing or is it because thecar make more TQ so the trans doesn’t think it needs to kick down?

1. If you're just going to run the OTS Stage 2 map there is no need for any kind of datalogs to be made or sent to the tuner, you would only datalog and send logs to the tuner if you thought the car wasn't running right or if you were asking to have a custom tune made.

2. As for the kickdown question, I've never had this issue with my MHD tunes. My kickdown always functions just fine, just like it used to. I however don't use it anymore because my transmission is tuned via xHP, and last I checked, using the kickdown with xHP reverts the transmission tune parameters back to stock, or something like that.

I may have missed spoken, what I mean to say is when I give it gas the car doesn’t downshift into a lower gear, it just continues on through rev range until red line then shifts. Does that make sense?

Ohh yes, that makes more since, and yes, I experienced that same issue and would be willing to bet all tuned Supra owners have as well. It just comes with adding the extra horse power and torque from the engine tune, now the transmission tune is still set to the factory setting so things aren't jiving as perfectly as they could be. I will say, now that you've tuned the engine and ECU, you should get xHP and tune the transmission as well. xHP makes the transmission feel so much better and completely fixes that issue you're describing that came with tuning the ECU.
