Anybody know of any good radar detectors? Too many mixed reviews.

Uniden r7 seems to be king still in preformance and value. There is the latest r8 but all the tech reviews say there is not really any groundbreaking improvement from the R7 so its not worth the extra $100+ bucks, so they still place R7 as #1 best overall

Yea so far what I’m seeing is the R3 or R7 is what’s most popular on the more “affordable” range.

If you dont mind spending $500 on a detector id get the R7 if i was you. I seen all the people who dodge the cops run those work’s fantastic. Id buy it myself but i gotta psyche myself into dropping $500 for this little thing eventually lol

Good reviews on the Uniden.
I have been holding off as well, mainly because our cars doesn’t have the greatest visibility and not very keen on adding another object on the windshield.

I have the R7 and it is great. Nice to see which direction the radar is coming from and it is also shielded from being detected by the police..
