Minor but annoying issue that the satellite radio volume is about twice as loud as the normal radio volume. I don't see any settings to change it but wondering if anyone else is having this issue or anyone has any suggestions.

I have the issue also, have not seen a fix for it.

Although it may very well be different being a bmw system, I know that on the Toyota side the headunits that have “HD RADIO” will have different volume when it’s getting an HD signal vs not. It gets loud and more clear on HD, then if you drive between mountains/buildings/etc it will be very quiet on the regular radio signal. It may be something along these lines happening here... Satellite radio is an HD signal I believe

Many cars have the ability to adjust the various sources volume levels in order to “level” out the overall volume. This would allow each source to play at the same volume when switching between sources. However, I have yet to find a way to do this in my Supra. I’ve been thru the traditional menu as well as the BimmerCode route. Nothing found yet.

I agree many cars can level out the overall volume. But for instance on my gf’s ‘16 Rav4, you cannot level it out. Its loud on HD signal, and quiet on regular radio signal. Most likely the same case on the Supra. If anyone finds a workaround let us know!

Yep same here as well. Doesn't actually bother me as the high frequency distortion of satellite sources drives me insane so I can't even stand listening to spoken work on it for more than a minute or two - let alone music.

But it did scare the hell out of me when I first tried out the satellite radio function... had been listening at decent level from the hard drive... then BAM! Double the volume! Luckily I was just pulling out of the parking lot... because I definitely was fully distracted for those few seconds.
