While this is probably not the ideal location to post this, I figured quite a few who track, autocross and race would know more about this than the average daily driver.

Any recommendations?

Their bracket to hold the fire extinguisher works on our Supras but Iā€™ve never got the chance to install it so I just put my fire extinguisher in the net near the passenger footwell.
if you decide to buy from them and are interested in the bracket lmk.

Any first hand experience with these?

Quick search results in some mixed reviews. Form factor sure is cool though.
Thankfully no, and I hope it turns out that I wasted the money.

Is that just zip tied? That is some Final Destination shit waiting to happen.
It is. Had some thicker ties in there prior to that picture taken but had to cut them off. All I had left were the smaller ties. Iā€™ll replace them with metal ties or might just bolt it down.

I used some eBay bracket that bolts under the passenger seat and is adjustable with a quick release to bolt to that bracket. Something universal you can make work on the cheap just an option. Also Iā€™d be more worried about (a zip tie breaking šŸ¤£)my fire extinguisher being out of date than which fire extinguisher brand.

Yeah, I've also heard mixed reviews on the Element ones. :dunno:

The H3R are nice...but EXPENSIVE!

HALON extinguisher expensive but effective. No mess. Dry Chem is a filthy mess. It puts out the fire but collateral damage of powder everywhere. HALON is used in aircraft engine fire suppression. Tree huggers hate it because it eats ozonešŸ™„

I have both element and Hs3. I used the element on a friends car and it saved it from what would have been a big fire and probably a total loss on his gti race car with a fuel fire over the gas tank after a race track contact with another car broke the fuel neck on the tank. Here is a pic of how I mounted the Hs3
