To use BimmerLink, you’ll need a Bluetooth OBD2 reader and the BimmerLink app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. I think the app is $39.99, but it’s been a while since I installed it, so I could be wrong.

For an OBD2 reader, a lot of Supra owners use the OBDLink MX+, and it works well, but there are cheaper options out there. Amazon can deliver one overnight to our area, so check if that’s an option for you.

Good luck with it!

I got the cheaper version & seems to work fine.

What’s the main differences or reason to buy the more expensive one?

You leaving it in by accident? Put the sucker in, do your coding thang, and take it out. Welcome back CarPlay! Is how it should work.
