So full transparency, this is a sponsored review. I opted into the free demo in exchange for a review of this forum.
PACKAGING:
Very well packaged and shipped. I received the camera as well as a hardwire kit
The camera mounting system came with electrostatic stickers to place onto the glass to prevent adhesive from being left behind.
I chose not to use the hardwire kit for now as I was testing the camera to video quality before I committed to slapping it onto my glass. Especially since I have tint on the windshield and back glass
Overall the quality of the camera is very nice. The build seem on par with other dash cams. The cable to the rear camera is extremely long.
FRONT FACING
I tried my best to get a bright day to see if it would wash anything out. Over all it seemed pretty clear.
REAR FACING CAMERA
Again I tried to get a bright day but this time with some shadow to test the cameras ability to adapt to lighting changes. Again. Not bad at all
FRONT FACING REAR CAMERA
So this was my only gripe. The video was pretty washed out from the light coming through the windshield. For a rideshare person this wouldn’t be an issue. But if you wanted to use this to try and capture video of outside the car I can see this being an issue
