Alright, that does it. V4 is what I'm getting. Looks great!
Rexpeed V4 checking in. I was on the first batch preorder so my fitment is spot on.
I had the same exact problem but with A90 Shop Duckbill spoiler....maybe made by the same company...not sure.Pleased with my v4, I’d say 9/10. The only thing I wasn’t super happy about is that when I was dry fitting it (without the 3m tape) the little arms on the sides didn’t quite perfectly match up with the contours of the hatch. It’s kinda nitpicky cause obviously it’s gonna sit on tape anyway but other than that no complaints.
Color match looks neat! Diggin the look! Can’t speak to the quality of the carbon fiber, but I got a Rexpeed V2 painted spoiler for my 2022 and fitment is very good.
Here is our link with the discount (LINK)CF V4 available?
Sorry, I don't really have any good pics but you can see the matte finish is these. The finish and the weave on the wing is nice but the fit and over all quality is maybe a 6/7 out of 10. Seems to be hit or miss with them.Sorry to revive this older thread, but does anyone have pictures of the Rexspeed V4 but in matte finish?
I don't have any other carbon on my car, so think a matte finish would look better.
Yeah the OEM one is a bit pricey. I do like the way the matte carbon looks but the fitment is just not good. I even contacted them about it and their customer service was very good. They ended up sending me a replacement immediately. Unfortunately the replacement one was 10x worse. The whole thing was warped. I did a dry fit with it and it looked like it was literally melting off the back of my car. I didn't even bother reaching back out to Rexpeed (I probably should have) but I was so fed up with taking the wing on and off and having to deal with the 3m tape residue. Thanks for that, I see what you mean. Matte does look better though. Shame they don't so a satin black version.
I got a quote from my local dealer here in the UK for part number - PT967-C1212-02 (Genuine black version)
Price was £1926 + 20% TAX which equals around $2912. Can be bought for $950 in the US, plus $250 shipping and then to add local import tax\duty. Really not worth that IMO, so might have to compromise on fit.
Yeah I'd definitely do that if I was in the US.I think I'm eventually going to bite the bullet and buy an OEM one from toyota. I know that one has 3 bolts that you need to drill holes for in the trunk, but I'd probably just cut them off. The 3m tape should be more than sufficient.
