K-Brace finally shipped, enjoy the pic while we wait!

I tried installing the K Brace this morning, I expected it to be direct bolt on since that's what it says on their website but its not. It didn't even come with instructions, the website it has some generic instructions. No pics or anything SMH!

I tried guessing the mounting points but I'll need a few things in order for it to bolt up and work.


Comes with bolts, mounts, and rivet nuts

Here's what the trunk looks like without the liner and panels

Looks like some sound deadening materials on both sides

This is where i'm assuming the rivet nut is used with the supplied mount, I'll need to buy a drill bit to make the hole large enough for the rivet nut to fit.

The supplied bolt does not fit here, seems too big in diameter. Doing my research its supposed to be M8-1.25, gotta go Home Depot and buy 2.

Ok i was able to to get the needed parts to get it on but now there’s fitment issues, I’ll contact them Monday….

2 washers on each side on the top bolts did the trick!

Here is the finished Product. Had to do some final measurements and cutting to properly fit the panels.

Fitment 8/10 - They gave the wrong bolts for the bottom brackets and I had to adjust the top part with washers on both sides.

Quality 9/10 - Solid piece with your color choice of powder coat.

Install took me about 3-4 hours. There are no instructions, pics, vids, etc.

No review until I take it to the canyons. But from spirited driving going on on-ramps/off ramps on the freeway it seems more planted like body roll is much less noticeable or even eliminated.
