There corrected my post to better suit what I meant - less literal ?

I’ve got a bit more on my MX5 and a crap ton on my Supra ofc. Neither have overly worn the inside tires. But they are fun cars and I like to be able to corner a bit more faster & stable. No criticism to Mr. Funk, just assuming (maybe wrongfully so) that he might like to drive the same. Ofc he can do what he wants ?
Thank you for calming my inner autist.

I think the camber comment was said in good faith and as constructive feedback. And it does make sense. More camber up front does make the Supra more Supra

You aren't wrong lol I definitely drive my car pretty aggressively :) but yeah my main focus was rear stability which I think I've dialed in, so gonna move onto other areas of the car for now.

Saw that Apex was having a big sale on backordered rims - so I said fuck it and ordered a set. I was originally going to get a forged knockoff set from Alibaba but with such a big discount from Apex they basically got down to the same cost if I were to order from Alibaba.

SM-10RS 18x10" ET30 in Motorsport gold in a square setup. Hopefully I can run 275/40/18s all around without putting on spacers or messing with my suspension, but we shall see! I think the gold will look very good on my red car :)

I bet you can if you don’t add too much camber or lower the car further. I did both sizes on Ohlins, close to OEM ride height & 10mm spacers. Regardless, it was never a problem in town. Lemme know how you like it vs 275/35-18. If you end up trying both. The lower profile tires had more grip for me - on track.

Installed an AFE front sway bar today. I actually ordered it on Nov 15, 2024 but I only got it yesterday - Yes it took A90shop 3.5 months to ship it out to me ? It just kept getting delayed and delayed but I wasn't worried about it as it was low on my priority list.

Zero increase to NVH and noticeably less roll out of the car even on the softest setting. Very happy with it! Eventually I might get around to ordering the rear counterpart but not anytime soon.

OEM+ Certified :)

All 4 rims arrived (2 on Friday and 2 on Saturday, unsure why half the shipment got delayed a day)

Apex SM10-RS 18x10+30

Have an appointment with Discount Tire to install 275/40/18 Continental Extreme Contact Sport 02s onto them after all the positive reviews I saw on the tire. Very excited! Really hoping they clear the stock suspension without spacers because I hate spacers on street cars (and in general but I'm more willing to put spacers on my track cars).

Installed new rims and tires

Apex SM-10RS in Motorsport Gold
Square 18x10 ET30
275/40/18 ExtremeContact Sport 02 filled to 33psi

Stock suspension, no spacers.

Just clears by a few mm. No rubbing issues that I felt on the 30 mile drive home. Thank Satan because spacers are the worst. I've ran spacers in multiple cars and still run them in my championship winning rally cross Mustang, and I still hate them ?

Next up... exhaust. I'm thinking Titan Motorsports titanium cat back with a 3rd party titanium resonator welded inline. Good idea? Bad idea? I'm fixated on having a valved exhaust because sometimes I want peace. I'm also fixated on titanium because it's so dang light and this car is just so dang heavy.

The Titan with the valve closed cuts a lot of drone, but it's still loud in the audible frequencies.

Interested in resonator placement on the Titan as well. it could possibly squeeze in right where the midpipe and axleback meet, but then you lose a connection point.
