Scratch in splitter clear coat

Hi all,

has anyone successfully buffed out a scratch in the stock splitter? I have a minor scratch in the clear but I’m afraid to try to buff it out because of the finish on the black. It looks a bit different and I’m worried I’ll buff through it.

Those things are $29 bucks to replace. Don't bother tryna fix it.

Also - they're going to get dinged up as low to the ground as they are. If it's not too bad, I'd just deal with it.
