Show me your Aim solo mounting solutions

Id like to not use a ram mount on the windshield. Does anyone have anyone recommendations on mounting elsewhere?

I don’t use an AIM anymore but this is how I did it. Pro clip mount to a 3d printed bracket courtesy of bossbossracing. I use a dash now.

I zipped tied my Aim Solo to the sun visor. Not the best, but it works if you’re in a bind and don’t have a better solution.

that's exactly the type of setup i'm looking for, thank you. Looks like the bossboss mount isnt available anymore. is the proclip metal? and does it come off easily? maybe i can just modify it to accept a generic solo bracket.

You can add anything to the proclip bracket. It's plastic, you can bolt/screw/stick anything to it. I use two in my Supra, one for my phone while datalogging and one for my Garmin Catalyst.

Did you have any issues with sattelite reception mounting it there?

I'm just using a dual windscreen mount with the Solo2Dl and smartycam at the moment, but I found the Solo struggled to pick up sattelites unless it was right at the front fo the dash.
